Linewatch’s Infringement Report: 2023
At Linewatch, our mission is to prevent pipeline accidents from occurring. We do this by raising awareness of our networks’ existence and encouraging safe working practices when planning and undertaking work around them. Understanding when, where, and why infringements occur, as well as who is involved, helps us to identify patterns and trends which we can use to protect our pipelines and prevent injury in the future.
To get this information, we draw on infringement data from our 22 members. These major pipeline operators from across the UK, report their incidents, infringements, and near-misses, allowing us to create our anticipated Infringement Report.
